BENNET GROUP PROMOTES TANI LOO, WELCOMES BANNING RAMIREZ

HONOLULU Bennet Group Strategic Communications, one of Hawaiʻi’s premier public relations agencies, announced the promotion of Tani Loo and the addition of their newest team member, Banning Ramirez. Tani and Banning both serve as assistant account executives for the firm.

“Tani and Baning have made impressive contributions to our firm, delivering exceptional and measurable results to our full suite of clients,” said Joan Bennet, president and CEO of Bennet Group. “Our firm looks forward to supporting their success as emerging communications professionals in Hawaiʻi.”

Tani joined Bennet Group in January 2022 as an account coordinator. Before launching her career in public relations, Tani gained experience in communications in the energy sector. She held various positions in education, assisting with research and content development. Through her previous work, she applied her content creation skills to craft compelling stories and engage with Hawaiʻi’s communities. She received her master’s degree in English with a concentration in creative writing from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in 2020.

Banning began his career in public relations at Little Green Pickle in Portland, Oregon, where he supported multiple team members on over 30 client accounts in food, beverage, hospitality, and tourism. Previously to joining Bennet Group, he was an account executive for BuzzBright PR – a full-service public relations and influencer marketing agency. He is a member of the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, the Public Relations Society of America – Hawai‘i Chapter and the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Banning received his bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State University in 2015 and graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama in 2011.

Combined, their roles support team members Joan Bennet, Dylan Beesley, Megan Tsuchida, Sitarani Crevier, Pono Suganuma, Catherine Coleman, Tayte Brock and Jamie Fend on an impressive range of clients. Tani and Banning’s commitment to advancing positive growth in public health, education, Native Hawaiian advocacy, real estate, affordable housing, community and resort development, renewable energy and more will better serve Hawaiʻi’s communities.
