Bennet Group Promotes Pono Suganuma to Senior Account Executive
Honolulu – Bennet Group Strategic Communications, one of Hawai‘i’s premier public relations agencies, today announced the promotion of Pono Suganuma to senior account executive.

Pono joined the Bennet Group team in May 2019 as an account executive. In her role, she provides strategic planning, message development and tactical execution services for a suite of clients in the areas of renewable energy, inter-island transportation, resort development, real estate, agricultural sustainability and more. She also serves as the 2020 membership chair for the Hawaiʻi Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Prior to joining Bennet Group, Pono most recently served as a Legislative Aide for Hawaiʻi State Representative Nicole Lowen, whom she supported by drafting government resolutions, certificates, and constituent communication materials. She previously served as a Digital Content Producer for Hawaiʻi News Now, where she produced a variety of high-performing multimedia content for its digital and social platforms. Pono graduated from Utah State University in 2018 and Kamehameha Schools in 2015.
